Child and two adults are fighting for life and 16 schoolkids injured after horror crash between a bus and a car

- One adult has since believed to have died following the serious accident
A ‘serious’ bus crash with another vehicle has left multiple people injured, including 17 school children, in rural Queensland on Friday afternoon.
Two adults and a child are said to be clinging for life.
Paramedics were called to the scene at Wallumbilla, 430km west of Brisbane, on Friday after a vehicle collided with a bus on the Warrego Highway just before 3.30pm.
On Friday night, Queensland Police could only confirm a ‘serious accident’ had unfolded at Wallumbilla.
A total of 19 patients have taken to Roma Hospital -including one serious child and two critical adults, following the Wallumbilla bus crash

Queensland Ambulance Service have since confirmed there were 17 children on-board the bus, and one suffered multiple serious fractures that were considered critical.
The remaining 16 were in a stable condition, having suffered injuries ‘ranging from cuts, abrasions, lacerations (and) fractures.’
The bus driver was also in a stable condition after sustaining minor injuries, according to news.com.au.
Two people were trapped in the other vehicle for some time before they could be freed.
They are in a critical condition at Roma Hospital, with a total of 19 patients admitted.
Investigations are now underway to determine the cause of the crash.
Motorists travelling on the Warrego Highway are being warned to expect major delays.
