The National Health Commission in China said that the death was recorded in the northern province of Hubei, without giving further details, while the last death in Corona announced by China was last May.
On Wednesday, China began building a central medical center in Shijiazhuang District, Hubei Province, where cases of a cluster of COVID-19 appeared, according to “Xinhua”, and the authorities imposed a general closure in a number of cities in this province after the emergence of a second wave of infection.
On Thursday, Chinese television confirmed that a global team of scientists led by the World Health Organization had arrived in Wuhan, to investigate in order to find out the origin of the pandemic.
The team will spend about a month in the city in central China, where the new Corona virus first appeared in late 2019.
