The Civil Defense Department in the Gaza Strip reported that Gaza That the bodies of 1,760 martyrs evaporated due to internationally prohibited weapons, and the failure of the apparatus to record the data of the owners of the bodies in the relevant government records.
A statement by the Civil Defense said on Sunday that 10,000 martyrs are still under the rubble and rescue teams have not been able to retrieve them due to the prevention of the entry of necessary equipment, and the occupation forces are not allowing rescue teams to respond to distress calls.
He confirmed that 82 civil defense personnel were martyred by the occupation’s fire since the beginning of the war, and that its headquarters and vehicles were subjected to Israeli artillery and air bombardment.
He pointed out that the civil defense teams were able to recover the bodies of 35,000 people throughout the war, noting that there are 10,000 bodies under the rubble.
He explained that the Israeli occupation army dropped about 85 thousand tons of explosives on the Strip, which caused the destruction of more than 80% of the urban structure and 90% of the infrastructure.
He said that the occupation is besieging the Palestinians in an area less than 11% of the Gaza Strip, and is refusing to coordinate the entry of civil defense teams into the bombed areas. He called for providing the basic needs of fuel, equipment and spare parts to continue its work.
With American support, Israel is waging a devastating war on Gaza, leaving more than 40,000 martyrs – most of them children and women – and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and an unprecedented humanitarian disaster.
