Claudia Sheinbaum shares with Guadalajara in videoconference

Mexico City, January 12, 2023.- Through a video conference, in which dozens of Guadalajara were linked, Claudia Sheinbaum, head of government of Mexico City, gave the presentation “Successful policies for security, mobility and sustainable development. Advances and challenges of the 4T”.

Claudia Sheinbaum did not miss the opportunity to express to the people of Jalisco the deep affection she has for Jalisco, since when she was little, she traveled a lot to the entity, because her father worked in the tanning industry, in addition to her father studied at the University of Guadalajara.

On the other hand, he stressed that 2023 is a very important year for the National Regeneration Movement to which they belong, and in general for the country.

“It is a year where two very important elections are held, the one in the State of Mexico and the one in Coahuila, and it is therefore the prelude to 2024 and I believe that, these moments in the history of Mexico, – because you have to see it that way- , President Andrés Manuel López Obrador has managed to raise and continue raising the hope of millions and millions of Mexican men and women, we must live this moment with great intensity because there have really been great changes from what Mexico was in 2018 to what It is today, the Mexico of 2023,” he said.

He added that the most important and far-reaching change is that we went from a government that served a few interests; to one that is dedicated to truly serving the people of Mexico, “all these works and social rights that today are in the constitution and are a reality, really give our country a long breath,” said Claudia Sheinbaum.

“It is a moment where we all feel proud to be Mexican, if there were moments when we said there is no government that represents us; Today Mexico is history and is an example for many countries in the world,” said Sheinbaum Pardo.

Claudia Sheinbaum, thanked the interest and the invitation of leaders, popular representatives, fellow militants of Morena, the Green Party, the Labor Party, members of various unions, citizens who joined, to whom she reminded some of the principles of Mexican humanism, as the president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, has called it.

“We should never forget, regardless of the position we are in, that we continue to fight for a fairer Mexico, for a more democratic Mexico, for a Mexico where poverty and discrimination, classism and racism are eradicated,” emphasized.

She said that, from the headquarters of the Government of Mexico City, she governs under the thought of struggle, just as she fought with the opposition, “because if we stop thinking like this, we become a ruler who does not look at the people, that it is not close and that it is not permanently transforming and that it is not using the power to serve others.

He also stressed that the republican austerity has made it possible to take money from corruption and allocate it to those who need it most.

“For the good of all, the poor first”, represents a fraternal, ethical and moral vision, but above all it represents a vision of government where public resources have to be distributed to improve the living conditions of those who have less, and that It can only be done by improving wages, creating jobs, improving the conditions of those who work in the fields and opening rights, he explained.

“That is why we fight for the right to education, public health, culture, sports, a dignified life, and work.”
