Coles has slashed the prices of popular grocery items including pasta, sliced cheese and snacks in a bid to help lower the cost of living for all Australians.
Shoppers can expect savings across 30 breakfast, lunch and dinner essentials – with prices marked down by as much as 33 per cent.
Among the latest price reduction includes the supermarket’s owned pasta range of all shapes and sizes, now just $1, down from $1.20.
The extensive range includes spaghetti, macaroni, fettuccine, penne, rigatoni, shells and spirals – as it’s found the average family buys more than 110 packets of pasta every year.

Some of the biggest savings are for breakfast, with pikelets eight-pack down to just $2 from $3 and diced peaches in syrup four-pack down to $2 from $2.20.
As kids get ready to return to school, parents can save on lunchtime essentials with the price of a 24 pack of dairy cheese slices now $6.50, down from $7, and canned tuna in olive oil down to $1.30 from $1.70.
The supermarket is also offering up to 49 per cent savings across 70 popular snack foods so customers can pick any two for just $5.
The price cuts are the latest in a three-month campaign that will see the price of over 200 popular products lowered across the store, some by up to 36 per cent, as Coles undertakes a major investment in value.
The campaign has already delivered price reductions on ice cream, fresh convenience foods, in the deli, and on beverages and pet food.

Coles general manager of grocery Leanne White said the supermarket chain remains committed to help lower the cost of living for Australian households.
‘We know with kids going back to school and Australians returning to their routines after splurging on summer holidays, they are looking for ways to save money on regular purchases – particularly on products they buy all the time,’ she said.
‘We’ve lowered the cost of these products and provided ways to save on snacks for the school lunchbox at a time when it’s most important to our customers.
‘We’ll be adding further categories to the campaign throughout the summer period, to deliver even better value to customers every time they shop.’
The savings come after the supermarket drops the prices of popular items across its aisles to celebrate its tenth year of ‘Down Down’ and the ‘Big Red Hand’ providing Australians with trusted value they can rely on every time they shop.
Down Down has been a key part of chain’s commitment to delivering great value to customers. For more than 10 years, Coles have delivered an estimated cumulative price deflation of 10 per cent.
The supermarket has delivered millions of dollars in savings across the store through trusted value initiatives including the addition of 326 further products to the Down Down program.
