A Gucci-loving bikie boss has been extradited to Sydney after spending several weeks on the run.
Comancheros bikie boss turned fugitive Tarek Zahed, 40, was escorted by Criminal Groups Squad detectives officers in handcuffs through Sydney Airport on Monday afternoon after touching down from Melbourne.
NSW Police Criminal Groups Squad recently launched inquiries to locate the 40-year-old, who was wanted on an outstanding revocation of parole warrant.
Heavily armed officers from Victoria Police’s Echo taskforce and Australian Federal Police’s National Anti-Gangs Squad arrested at a Point Cook home in Melbourne’s west last Friday after returning from a mosque.
He was taken to Melbourne West Police Station and appeared in Melbourne Magistrate Court on Monday where NSW Police applied for his extradition to Sydney, which was granted.
