Concamin recognizes the opening of the AMLO government for Tesla to settle in Nuevo León

The president of the Confederation of Industrial Chambers of the United Mexican States (Concamin), José Abugaber, highlighted the need for Tesla to comply with care for the environment upon arrival in Mexico, as requested by the government of Andrés Manuel López Obrador, especially in relation to the maximum use of water.

In a statement, Concamin specified that one of the new conditions for companies to settle in Mexico “is the environmental care and the correct use of water, so Tesla it will have to analyze with the governments, both federal and state, what are the appropriate measures to comply with that requirement”.

The leader of the industrialists affirmed that in this process Mexico won, since with the arrival of new capital thousands of Mexican families will benefit from the arrival of Tesla to national territory, by generating jobs and triggering economic development.

The Concamin concluded the agreement between the Government of Mexico and Tesla so that the shipping company electric cars settled in Nuevo León.

Abugaber Andonie, recognized the openness of the President of the Republic, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who, in addition to listening to the voice of the industrialists, who asked to privilege dialogue so that the investment reached our country, showed sensitivity on a very important issue for the economic development.

A few days ago, the leader of the national productive plant had expressed concern about the lack of legal certainty for investments, since the decision must be made at all times by the companies, while the work of the governments is to accompany them in policies that facilitate investment and generate incentives.

“For the national industry, but above all for the country, it is important that this type of investment reach Mexico, so the greatest information and certainty must be provided in the process that companies carry out in their decision to install or relocate” he remembered.
