Condusef presents the Single Registry Portal, the communication platform with Financial Institutions

On October 17, the “Registration Provision” will come into force before the National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Financial Services Users (Condusef), and whose application will be gradual, according to a statement from the institution.

“The obligations of financial institutions before the Condusef are consolidated in a single regulatory document. The Single Registry Portal (PUR) is created. It sets the Electronic Notification System (SINE) as the communication platform with Financial Institutions. Periods of fulfillment of the obligations of the Financial Institutions are homologated”.

According to the document, the Provision on Records before the Condusef establishes that: For the use of the PUR, the Condusef will issue an Institutional Condusef Identity Key (CICI) to the Financial Institutions and their agents and authorized parties will issue CONDUSEF Identity Keys (CIC); These keys are unique, personal, non-transferable, safe and confidential.

It mentions that the requests for the Institutional Condusef Identity Codes (CICI) may be sent from October 17 to 28, 2022.

“With the CICI or CIC keys, Financial Institutions will be able to comply with the obligations they have before the Condusef through a single platform, as well as send and receive documentation, without the need to go in person to any service unit. Once the information is sent, an electronic acknowledgment will be generated that will contain a digital stamp, which will provide legal certainty”.

The Condusef determines that with the use of the PUR, the Financial Institutions will also be able to carry out massive uploads of information, as well as use forms to comply with their obligations in the different registries or systems of the Commission, in addition to being able to manage the historical information that uploaded to the records, which will be available for consultation and download at any time.

It establishes that another of the advantages incorporated with the issuance of the Provision regarding registrations before the Commission and the implementation of the PUR, is that the registration number of the adhesion contracts and insurance adhesion contracts will be used as identification to share information with other registries and, with this, avoid a double load.

In the procedure for dealing with complaints regarding collection offices, User identification filters will be implemented to present the complaint, for which the term that financial institutions will have to attend to them will be reduced from 30 to 10 business days. .

Electronic Management (SIGE) will be part of the PUR, to which financial institutions will have access to attend to complaints and clarifications from users of financial services, thus reducing the administrative burden and the cost of operating financial institutions .
