The US military announced the monitoring of the outbreak of the new Corona virus, on board two warships belonging to it, located in the Middle East.
The US Fifth Fleet confirmed, in a statement issued today, Friday, that about 12 people had been infected with the Coronavirus on board the amphibious transport ship San Diego, anchored in a port in Bahrain, carrying about 600 sailors and Marines.

The statement pointed out that all the injured entered quarantine on board the ship, and was isolated at the port, adding that the visits and providing military support at the port came in coordination with the Bahraini government and Ministry of Health.
In addition, the Fifth Fleet indicated that the crew of the guided missile cruiser Philippine Sea was also present in the region (with about 380 sailors on board), and the ship, which is currently undergoing checks, is expected to reach an undisclosed port in order to conduct tests. Additional.
