One of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges, KuCoin, has launched ‘KuCoin Crypto Friday.’
The event, which is a Black Friday for crypto holders, is taking place until October 10, 2021. The total winning prize of this event is a whopping 1 million USDT.
This event celebrates KuCoin’s fourth birthday, which was launched in September 2017 as a crypto exchange. Today, it has expanded to offer more than 400 crypto assets and services, including spot trading, margin trading, futures trading, P2P fiat trading, staking, and lending to its 8 million users globally.
With KuCoin Crypto Friday, the exchange aims to offer special discounts, allowances, and sale or pre-sales offers.
An Exclusive Event
Johnny Lyu, chief executive of KuCoin, describes this as an “exclusive event” designed to enable users to engage with crypto in “entertaining and interactive ways.”
“With the inevitable trend towards the exponential growth of the crypto industry, we believe that social interaction is the key to empower industry development. This is what KuCoin is focusing on moving forward – to transform into the first and the largest social trading platform. The launch of KuCoin Crypto Friday is a key step in this journey,” Lyu said.
The crypto trading platform is essentially introducing a way to increase interactivity between its users and KuCoin by allowing them to participate in different games such as flash sales of discount coupons, red envelope rain, draw prizes with shards, and collect coins.
It is an initiative to purchase crypto assets via gamified activities that cover both trading and non-trading activities to reach out to a wide user base.
Eligibility
To become eligible, users have to perform different tasks. One involves collecting shards of four different types of gold coins. Once a complete gold coin has been acquired, the user becomes eligible for a share in the 100,000 USDT rewards with others.
Each user can gather a maximum of 100 gold coins. The prize will be drawn on October 9 at 2 p.m. UTC.
Users will be able to use five identical shards to get one chance for a lucky draw. The prize pool of 150,000 USDT will include discount coupons for crypto-assets like BTC, ETH, LTC, KCS, or VRA, fee deduction bonus for futures trading, zero-interest-rate coupons for margin trading, and more.
