Cuba condemned the US decision to put it back on the US “state sponsor of terrorism” list, describing the decision as “rude and hypocritical.”
On Monday, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Barrilia added that “the political opportunism of this step is clear to all who care about the issue of terrorism.”
The United States had announced the return of Cuba to the “list of states sponsoring terrorism”, accusing it of supporting the leaders of the leftist rebel “National Liberation Army” active in Colombia.
It is noteworthy that the administration of the new president, Joe Biden, may reconsider this decision, but this process may take several months, according to the “New York Times”.
