The police in the Czech capital Prague prevented a gathering of opponents of the restrictions imposed in the context of the Corona pandemic, due to the refusal of the participants to wear masks and respect for physical distancing.
The authorities allowed only about 100 people to gather in a square in the center of the capital, Prague (which is the maximum allowed under the state of health emergency imposed in the country), while the police stopped buses carrying protesters from other parts of the country, to prevent them from entering Prague.

Absent from the ranks of the protesters this time was the former Czech president, Vaclav Klaus, who attended a number of similar gatherings in Prague in late 2020 and early 2021, and even had to pay a fine due to his initial refusal to wear a protective mask.
It is noteworthy that Klaus, 79, who wrote a book in which he criticized the restrictions imposed due to Corona, as a violation of human rights and freedoms, was himself infected with “Covid-19” disease on February 23, and underwent home treatment until March 6.
