Dakota Johnson was honored with the Golden Eye award for career achievement at the 2025 Zurich Film Festival on Thursday, ahead of the premiere of her new film, “Splitsville.”
For the event, the actress became one of the first celebrities to wear a custom Gucci creation from Demna’s new era as the brand’s creative director. Johnson, a brand ambassador for the Italian house since 2017, wore a long-sleeved, high-neck blue gown. The dress featured a semi-sheer bodice that offered a stark contrast to its voluminous, layered drop-waist skirt. Her appearance came just days after Gucci’s “The Tiger” presentation in Milan, which marked the debut of Demna’s spring 2026 collection.
To accentuate the dramatic attire, Johnson accessorized with statement rings and a pair of earrings. The jewelry was from Roberto Coin, for whom she has served as a global ambassador since being named to the role in May 2025. The partnership signals the jewelry brand’s strategic embrace of Hollywood star power.
“Dakota Johnson is a true original,” said Roberto Coin, the brand’s founder and creative director. “I love her expressions — an artist with authenticity, depth and a unique ability to connect. With Dakota, we’re evolving — not just showcasing jewelry, but aligning with a voice and personality that resonates more deeply with today’s luxury consumer.”
Johnson regularly works with stylist Kate Young, whose clientele also includes Scarlett Johansson and Julianne Moore.
