Dancing On Ice’s Carley Stenson became the sixth star to be voted off on Sunday night following a tough skate-off against Siva Kaneswaran.
The former Hollyoaks actress, 40, lost her place in the competition after all four judges opted to save The Wanted singer, 34 – with the vote coming after fans had previously complained that she was ‘overmarked’ in her first performance.
Meanwhile, it was a doubly difficult night for Carley as following her skate-off routine, she revealed that her shoulder had ‘popped out’, prompting host Holly Willoughby to reassure her that she’ll get medical assistance soon.Â
However, putting on a brave face, the TV star insisted that she was ‘fine’ as he shoulder had ‘popped back in’ after the dance.Â
After the skate-off result was revealed, Carley broke down in tears as she spoke to hosts Holly and Phillip Schofield.

She said of her time on the show: ‘It just got harder. I’m gonna miss this man [Mark Hanretty]. I’ve really enjoyed it, this is all a bit of a blur actually.’
Giving their verdict following both Carly and Mark and Siva and Klabera Komini’s second skates of the night, it was clear that the boyband star had the edge.
Ashley Banjo remarked: ‘What a skate-off! For me, it is about the skate-off, it is about the drama, it is about the executive and how you hold it together and I think [Siva and Klabera] had a stronger week.
While Oti Mabuse remarked that while Carley’s routine had been ‘intricate and difficult’, Siva’s was ‘easy but perfectly executed.’
Sealing Carley’s fate, Christopher Dean said: ‘The skate-off is about the do or die and tonight, there were some mistakes’, before voting to save Siva and Klabera.
While Head Judge Jayne Torvill was in agreement, adding: ‘I would agree with my fellow judges, it was all about tonight’s skate-off and that is what we have to judge.’
Carley had earlier bagged a great score of 34.5 points on Dancing On Ice, but ITV viewers seemed to disagree with the ITV judges marks.
The West End star took to the ice with partner Mark Hanretty and pulled off a very racy performance to Beyonce’s track Fever using their prop – a feather boa.

In the VT it was revealed that Carley had trained for much of the week with a different partner as Mark was ill – but the duo showed no signs of disruption in their routine.
Christopher Dean heaped praise on the ‘really ambitious number’ as hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield asked the judges their thoughts.
Oti Mabuse commented on how ‘sultry’ the skate was, gushing that it was ‘so classy, so beautiful’.
While skating legend Jayne Torvill commented that they commanded the routine so well considering Mark was off sick.
However, ITV viewers were quick to take to Twitter to complain that the duo were ‘overmarked’ for their ‘messy’ performance.

A third said: ‘Overmarked loads of mistakes #dancingonice’
‘At no point in that routine did Carley skate on her own, she rolled forward a few times due to momentum, but never once did she actually skate. We definitely need new judges, that routine was WAY OVERMARKED,’ a fourth penned.
Mollie Gallagher got things off to a flying start on Sunday night as she bagged her highest ever score during Props Week.
The Coronation Street star, 25, and her pro partner Sylvain Longchambon pulled off a fantastic airport themed routine to Come Fly With Me by Frank Sinatra, with the actress donning a lilac air hostess ensemble.
And Mollie and Sylvain left the judges and audience in awe as they tackled a ‘never been done before’ lift with their airport trolley prop.
The soap siren oozed confidence as she glided across the ice during the performance, with culminated in a daring trolley float in which the commentator remarked had never been attempted on the show before.Â

Elsewhere, like Mollie, Nile Wilson and partner Olivia Smart bagged their highest score of the series thanks to their stunning routine to Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis.

The reality star and pro partner Vanessa Bauer wowed with their surfing themed routine, with Joey expertly using his surfboard prop during the performance.Â
Elsewhere, the pressure is well and truly on for the remaining Dancing On Ice contestants as they have suffered a series of falls during rehearsals this week.
Stars including Carley Stenson, Nile Wilson and Mollie Gallagher have all sustained falls on the ice as they gear up for Sunday night’s show.
While no one has suffered any injuries that would force them to pull out of the show, a source told MailOnline they are all feeling the pressure to turn out a solid performance with the semi-final drawing nearer.
The insider said: ‘There have been lots of falls this week for the celebs. There haven’t been any serious injuries, just a few bumps but the pressure is really ramping up as everyone gets closer to the semi-final and final.Â
