Dante Delgado uncovers Colosio, Samuel García and Enrique Alfaro as the poppers of MC by 2024

Criticizing the management of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and the PRI-PAN-PRD alliance, the national coordinator of Citizen movementDante Delgado, said that his party can go alone in the 2024 presidential election, for which he uncovered the governors Enrique Alfaro y samuel garciaas well as the mayor Luis Donaldo Colosio Riojas.

Movimiento Ciudadano held its Extraordinary National Democratic Convention this Monday in the World Trade Center (WTC) Halls, where -just like the PRI and PAN- their political figures paraded towards the 2024 election.

Dante Delgado -a former ally of López Obrador- criticized the performance of the federal government because it “walks towards the past”, because it provoked the militarization of public security, more disappearances, more murders; an economy in decline, more poverty, more corruption and for its “bets on the past that put the future at risk: Mayan train, refineries and more.”

“The threat of the federal government against the INE and against all free thought remains latent: autonomous bodies, the judiciary, civil society, journalists, intellectuals, universities, what kind of person can consider the generators of balance, opinion and knowledge as enemies? of this country?” he questioned.

Before the MC militants, Dante Delgado affirmed that his party can win the Presidency by itself, since he said that two of the three most important entities in the country (Jalisco and Nuevo León) already govern, and distanced himself -with a criticism- from the PAN-PRI-PRD alliance.

We can win the presidency because we are a movement that looks face to face at the two alliances of the old politics. Because the PAN is past, because the PRI is past —a past that has already given in to the president’s temptations; because Morena and her satellites are also the past and because only we are the future. Believe it: Mexico does have a better option and it is Movimiento Ciudadano,” he said.

“We can win the presidency because we are the only alternative to those who have already failed Mexico,” he added.

He even uncovered the profiles of the Movimiento Ciudadano who at the time could be presidential candidates: “only we have an Enrique Alfaro, a Samuel García, a Luis Donaldo Colosio, a Pablo Lemus, a Biby Ravelo, a Salvador Zamora, a Jorge Álvarez Máynez, a Verónica Delgadillo, a Juan Zavala, a Mónica Magaña, a Martin Vivanco, a Priscila Franco, a Braulio López Ochoa and many, many more”.

At the event, Luis Donaldo Colosio, mayor of Monterrey, gave a presentation on how he has confronted local criminal gangs in that city, while they chanted “President, President!”.

“We are convinced that our main role, our main role, is not to cheer for ourselves as a movement, but to cheer on our people. Movimiento Ciudadano is a movement by and for the people, a movement that promotes equality, the protection of rights, the defense of people in vulnerable situations, but above all the right that we all have to joy, to be able to dream,” he said.

Pablo Lemus, mayor of Guadalajara, thanked Enrique Alfaro for inviting him to politics and helping him win his first election.

Like Colosio and Lemus, the governor of Nuevo León, Samuel García, called for unity in MC. And after being supported and celebrated by President López Obrador in recent days, García Sepúlveda expressed: “I only see myself in this movement. This is how we will be in 2023 and 2024”.

“I really don’t know if we’re going to go together or ball; alone or in coalition. What I do know is that we have already shown that we do not employ anyone and that we alone win and win well ”, she declared.

“I don’t know who the (presidential) candidate is going to be, but here we have roosters and mop women,” he said.

Although he was present, the governor of Jalisco, Enrique Alfaro, did not deliver any speech.
