João Fonseca has drawn Australian qualifier Tristan Schoolkate as his first-round opponent at the Toronto Masters 1000.
The match, originally scheduled for Sunday evening on the center court, has been postponed to Monday. Tournament organizers made the change to accommodate Schoolkate, the world No. 104, whose final qualifying match was delayed by rain and concluded on Sunday morning.
This will be the first career meeting between Fonseca and the 24-year-old Australian, who is still seeking his first ATP tour title.
