Democratic development bank unions face reprisals and labor disputes; they will seek defense

Pioneer trade union organizations in the banking sector, for 4 decades, such as the Single and Democratic National Union of Workers of the National Foreign Trade Bank (SINUDET-BANCOMEXT), and the Single National Union of Workers of Nacional Financiera (SUNNAFIN), face unprecedented changes in employer relations that go against the labor reform, in this case the administration of the Banco Nacional de Comercio Exterior and Nacional Financiera, which are headed by Luis Antonio Ramírez Pineda.

In a press conference, the workers denounced various problems ranging from taxation in the salary increaseschanges in benefits and recently the actions to dispossess union headquarters, “these are actions that threaten the Union Freedom of workers, since a series of distortions are generated in labor relations that vitiate and contaminate the work environment, generating the installation of the abuse of functions as a norm in the actions of authority”.

Hence, they seek to defend, by all means, their labor rights They see that this could only represent the beginning of a series of violations, since “the members of the national executive committees of both unions have also been prohibited and restricted from accessing institutional facilities, which greatly diminishes union management, since the physical presence of the union representation is deprived of the workers. What has never been experienced with previous administrations ”.

The secretaries general of SINUDET-BANCOMEXT, Fernando Salazar Cruz, and the secretary of Jocabeth Galindo, SUNNAFIN They explained that the union headquarters are for the workers where training is carried out and has even been used as dining areas for the workers, “we do not know what the purpose of this type of repression against the national executive committee is, we know that the current administration is public servants who do not know the history of these institutions”, said Jocabeth Galindo.
