Demonstrations took place in several European capitals and cities today, Saturday, in solidarity with the Palestinians and in rejection of the ongoing Israeli war on… Gaza Strip For the 316th day.
British cities, including the capital, have witnessed London Manchester, organized marches in which hundreds participated, denouncing the continuation of the Israeli war on Gaza.
The demonstrators, who raised Palestinian flags, denounced the occupation’s massacres and targeting of civilians and hospitals in Gaza, and called for pressure on Israel to accept a ceasefire.
And in HollandA march was held in Amsterdam, where hundreds of demonstrators demanded an immediate end to the war in Gaza, and forcing Israel to withdraw its forces from the Strip, denouncing the massacres it is carrying out against defenceless civilians, and condemning American and Western support for Israel.
The Norwegian capital also witnessed Oslo Today, a large demonstration at the beginning of the new school year in the country, in solidarity with the students of the Gaza Strip, and in condemnation of the Israeli massacres against the Palestinian people.
The demonstrators in the march, which gathered in the Norwegian Workers’ Square and headed towards the University of Oslo, raised slogans denouncing the genocide in the Gaza Strip, and called on the international community to stop the war and Israel’s bombing of civilians, schools and universities in the Gaza Strip.
The German capital also witnessed Berlin Wolfsburg, Bremen and Stuttgart held demonstrations in support of Palestine, called by activists who expressed their solidarity with the residents of the Gaza Strip, while Swedish cities, including Borås and Uppsala, witnessed marches in which demonstrators took to the streets demanding an end to the war on Gaza.
The marches called for the trial of the leaders of the Israeli occupation, lifting the siege on Gaza, and demanded that the international community take effective action leading to a ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
Protesters held a sit-in in the Italian city of Milan in support of Palestine and Gaza, while a demonstration took place in the Danish city of Aarhus in support of Gaza and in condemnation of the “genocide” in the Strip.
This comes within the framework of demonstrations witnessed by several world cities, denouncing the ongoing war of the occupation army on Gaza since October 7, leaving tens of thousands of martyrs, wounded and missing, amid a humanitarian situation described as catastrophic and a worsening famine looming over the besieged Strip.
