He added that the demonstrators demanded an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the entry of humanitarian aid, and the lifting of the siege on the Strip. They also chanted slogans calling for the liberation of Palestine.
The reporter stated that the demonstrators directed harsh criticism at the British Prime Minister, who they said had “blood on his hands” because of his responsibility for supporting and arming Israel.
Solidarity activists organized a march towards the US Embassy in Brussels to demand an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. But activists said that the police did not allow the march to approach the embassy building.
Meanwhile, Amnesty International called for following the example of Belgian labor unions that decided to block arms shipments to Israel in protest against the war on the Gaza Strip.

The Belgian transport workers’ unions called on their members on Tuesday to refuse to load or unload arms shipments sent to Israel. They said in a joint statement that workers’ participation in loading or unloading these weapons “means supporting regimes that kill innocents.”
A demonstration took place in Cologne in solidarity with the Gaza Strip, and participants raised Palestinian flags, demanding an end to the Israeli war.
