Deputies plan to vote tomorrow, December 13, minute again

The Political Coordination Board (JCP) of the Chamber of Deputies, headed by deputy Ignacio Mier Velazco, and who is coordinator of Morena, reported that it could be tomorrow, Wednesday, December 14, when the minute on the matter is addressed in plenary political-electoral sent by the Senate of the Republic.

Through a statement it was reported that, in a private meeting, the JCP stated that this Tuesday the plenary session of the Chamber of Deputies would be informed of the minute sent by the co-legislator, in order to attend to it the next session.

“I am aware that tomorrow (today) it will be discussed (in the Senate) and we will be attentive to see the modifications that are made so that they are sent to the Chamber of Deputies and we will attend to them here,” he said.

Mier explained that a series of events are planned prior to the analysis of the reform in plenary, including the discussion and vote on the opinion of the Finance Commission on appointments of senior employees of the Tax Administration Service.

He stated that it is also planned that, in a semi-face-to-face session, the agreement of the call, evaluation guidelines and process for the integration of the Technical Committee of the National Electoral Institute, which was endorsed unanimously in the JCP yesterday.

Within this framework, Mier commented that the minute on electoral reform could be submitted to the plenary for consideration on Wednesday.
