Derek Chisora has offered to step in for Alexander Povetkin and fight Dillian Whyte just three weeks after being outpointed by Oleksandr Usyk.
Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn is scrambling around trying to find a last-minute opponent to save the November 21 show after Povetkin pulled out of the headline fight due to being hospitalised with coronavirus.
Chisora, who only just lost a draining 12-rounder against Usyk last Saturday, told Hearn he wants the fight and has already coined the promotional title: Lockdown lunacy.

Chisora told Eddie Hearn he would step in for Alexander Povetkin and fight Whyte this month
Speaking on Instagram live, Whyte’s promoter Hearn was told by Chisora: ‘Do you want to give me that fight? I’ll take that.’
Hearn said: ‘It would be the fastest pay-per-view turnaround in history.’
Chisora replied: ‘It’s all about making history. Think about it, let me know and I’ll take it.’
The 36-year-old, who gave a good account of himself against Usyk but ultimately fell short, has already fought Whyte twice before.
He lost a close fight by split decision in their first meeting in 2016 and was knocked out by Whyte two years ago in another competitive contest.

Hearn suggested the idea of Whyte facing WBC champion Tyson Fury, who is planning to make a UK homecoming on December 5.
Fury is yet to name an opponent though Germany’s undefeated former European champion Agit Kabayel has been given the chance to challenge the Brit for the world title.
American heavyweight Micheal Hunter, meanwhile, who threw his name in the hat to face Fury when his trilogy clash with Deontay Wilder was abandoned, has also offered to step in for Povetkin and fight Whyte.
He told Boxing Social: ‘For free. Just for the viewers. Call me you guys, Fury, Whyte, Hearn, you know my number, reach out. It’s an easy business move. I’ll fight for nothing.’
Whyte’s rematch with Povetkin is expected to go ahead further down the line with Hearn earmarking dates in January.
