Trade rumors targeting various NBA players are intensifying as the February 10 trade deadline approaches.
Located in 14th position in the Western Conference with a balance of 14-29, the Oklahoma City Thunder could make a move in the coming weeks. In fact, information from the The Oklahoman suggests that Derrick Favors is on the exit ramp.
The center has been linked to transfer rumors constantly throughout his long career in the NBA, which is why he has taken this new episode resignedly and philosophy. “I think every year I’ve been in the league, my name has been linked to transfer rumours. So I’m pretty used to it,” Favors told the same outlet. “I don’t really pay attention to it. I try to control what I can control. I try, as the coach says, to keep my feet where I am at the moment.”
Favors has enjoyed a certain relevance throughout this season, as evidenced by his 5.1 points, 4.7 rebounds and 16.0 minutes in 31 games played, thirteen of them as a starter. The interior has another year left on his contract – subject to a player option – worth 10.2 million dollars.
