Russian scientists at the Novosibirsk Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences were able to develop new pharmaceutical substances that protect against the dangers of ruptured blood vessels in the human body.
Researchers at the Novosibirsk Institute, in cooperation with doctors from the Russian National Medical Research Center, developed materials Polymeric A new method that can be used to repair the walls of blood vessels to prevent their rupture, which will reduce the risks of bleeding in the body and the risks of clots and strokes.
It is expected that the production process of new polymeric pharmaceutical materials will begin in 2025, as the final versions of these drugs are currently being tested.
The study’s author, researcher Arkady Bryzgalov, at the institute’s Pharmaceutical Research Laboratory, said, “We have developed these drugs in cooperation with doctors and surgeons in Russia… and they will contribute more effectively to reducing rupture in vessels.”
A vascular rupture occurs when an abnormal swelling or bulge in the wall of a vessel bursts, causing bleeding inside the body, which often leads to death.
