Russia’s war on Ukraine has entered its tenth day, and the Ukrainian army has announced that Russian forces have begun to cordon off the capital, Kyiv and Kharkiv – the second largest city in the country – to besiege them. The mayor of Mariupol also confirmed that the Russians are besieging the city on the Sea of Azov in southern Ukraine.
These developments come at a time when a Western intelligence official said that the Russians are ready to bomb Ukrainian cities until they surrender.
In parallel, the Kyiv authorities confirmed that military reinforcements from allied countries would be distributed to the fronts, while Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmyal accused the Russian army of bombing hospitals and schools.
