Major DFO shopping outlet, BIG W store and seven bus routes in Melbourne are exposed to coronavirus as list of infected venues surges to 279

A BIG W store, a major shopping centre outlet and seven Melbourne bus routes have been exposed to Covid-19 – as the list of infected venues across Victoria reaches 279.
The bus routes include a popular trip from the Central Square shopping centre in Melbourne’s south-west to Footscray in the inner-city on May 26 and May 27.
Shoppers who visited the BIG W in Craigieburn in Melbourne’s far north on May 20 between 11.30am and 12.30pm must get tested and self-isolate for 14 days.
The bus routes are also listed as Tier 1 sites, meaning those exposed must follow the same isolation rules.

There are now more than 279 venues across the state exposed to the deadly virus.
Another Tier 1 alert has been issued for the Unit Hill Town Centre in the northern suburb of Bundoora on May 25 between 2.47pm and 4.07pm.
Coles Epping Plaza, the Metricon Homes Campbellfield office and Agora IGA Express – which are also all in Melbourne’s north – are among the other Tier 1 exposure sites.
The new DFO outlet sites include the Quicksilver, Factorie and Edge shops in Bundoora on May 25 between 2.47pm and 4.07pm.
They are all Tier 2 sites – meaning anyone who visited the stores must get tested and isolate until they receive a negative result.
Shoppers at Chadstone Shopping Centre were on Sunday put on high alert after customers wandered around the centre on May 26 while infected with Covid-19.
Anyone who attended the shopping centres between the specified times is required to get tested immediately and self-isolate until they receive a negative result.
Affected shops in Chadstone on May 26 included the Optus store at 12pm to 12.40pm, Baker’s Delight at 12.40pm to 12.45pm, Woolworths at 12.50pm to 1.30pm, and Zimmerman’s at 12.50pm at 1.30pm.

Those stores have all been listed as Tier 2 exposure sites.
Yokozuna sushi restaurant, however, is a Tier 1 at 11.30am to 12pm on May 26 after the infected shopper dined there.
The whole of Epping Plaza is a Tier 3 venue at 10.05am to 11.45am on May 25, and Cotton On, Edge, Valleygirl, Supre and Boost Juice were all tier 2 during that time.
Anyone who has visited an exposure site listed as Tier 3 must monitor for symptoms and get tested if they appear.

A positive case also visited the centre’s Coles at 1.45pm to 2.45pm on May 22, 2.50pm to 3.20pm on May 19, and 3.15pm to 4.15pm on May 24.
Kmart at Epping Plaza was exposed at 2.15pm to 3.05pm on May 16, 4.40pm to 5.30pm on May 22, and 3.20pm to 4.10pm on May 26.
Both shops are Tier 2.
