(CNN) — There was speculation over a decade ago that “Glee” star Dianna Agron and Taylor Swift may have had a “Love Affair.”
Now, Agron just tackled it.
In an interview recently published in Rolling Stone, the actress was asked about being a supposed inspiration for Swift’s 2012 single “22” from the album “Red,” as Agron appears on the liner notes.
Agron replied, “Me? Oh, I wish!”
“That’s more of a friendship than being the inspiration for the song,” he said. “But I wouldn’t be the right person to ask about that. I can’t say for sure.”
The couple dated for a bit between 2011 and 2012 and was also asked by the publication about being “shipped”, that is, portrayed as being in a relationship by some fans and reports.
“That’s very interesting. I… I mean, there were a lot of stories about my love life that are totally untrue,” Agron said. “It is funny”.
CNN has reached out to a representative for Swift for comment.
