Digital skills top job training priorities again

The digital skills development led the training of the workforce in 2022. According to a study by Udemy Business, this type of skills registered a 49% growth in the preferences of workers, largely due to the changes brought by the future of work.

However, those that had an interest growth above 400% were databricks, system design interview, behavior driven development, 5G and Microsoft Power Platform.

“The focus is on fundamental programming languages ​​and the knowledge needed to deal with new cybersecurity threats. The students reinforced their skills in relation to maintaining an efficient architecture in the cloud through Kubernetes microservices, as well as in terms of security in applications implemented with containers”, highlights the study.

Only in the data analysis, it is estimated that by 2025 the 70% of jobs will use data in daily activities, indicates a study carried out by the Tableau platform and Forrester Consulting.

“The retention of tech talent is vitally important to organizations, and many workers seem to be preparing to change jobs by gaining system design interview skills,” notes Udemy Business.

Meanwhile, the business area skills they also had a good dynamic in 2022, with a global growth of 39% in the development of these skills. Within this group, the skills that led the demand of workers were: communication, project management, leadership, agility and scrum.
