Spencer Dinwiddie continues to mull over his global business plan. If two years ago we learned of your intention to formalize a digital investment through tokens, something that the NBA ended up allowing after demanding some modifications in its project; now we know that you have tried, unsuccessfully, to buy the Washington Wizards advertising patch.
The objective of the player of the capital franchise, which he has reached via sign-and-trade This summer, he was promoting his Calaxy app and crypto currency, but the NBA hasn’t let him. Dinwiddie, who has signed with Washington for three years and $ 62 million, was willing to pay the $ 12 million for such ad space; reported Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN before the interested party himself confirmed it.
With Dinwiddie’s option ruled out, the Wizards have to continue looking for a new sponsor, as the agreement with Geico expired at the end of the 2020-21 season. While the offices take care of this, it is up to Dinwiddie to show on the track that he is still as good as before he was injured. It should be remembered that at the end of December 2020 he suffered a partial tear of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, a condition that has kept him away from the courts since then.
