He pointed out that all surgeries of various specialties are performed, whether brain tumors, nerves or joint changes, resulting from cancer, adding that there are 4 operating rooms equipped with the latest equipment, and all children with cancer are received from any governorate, even outside Alexandria, whether from the governorate Matrouh, Beheira, Kafr El-Sheikh or any other governorate without conditions. He said that there is no waiting list, and we receive about 1,500 children annually, and they are treated free of charge.
He added that the hospital was built on 5 acres, and there is a plan to develop the completion of the hospital to accommodate more children, and there is a plan to build a radiotherapy center equipped with the latest equipment.
