She said Doctors Without Borders The Gaza Strip is witnessing “an amount of suffering beyond imagination,” with people in the areas of Beit Hanoun, Jabalia and Beit Lahia facing one of “the most brutal and violent attacks since the beginning of the war.”
According to the organization, the region is subjected to violent indiscriminate Israeli bombardment, causing massive civilian losses, and the situation has become a “nightmare.”
The organization added – in a statement – that Israeli forces in those areas are simultaneously issuing “evacuation” orders that cannot be implemented. She explained that many people who try to leave these areas are subjected to mass arbitrary arrest or shooting while trying to flee.
The organization also complained that some of its employees and family members are trapped in those areas “and are witnessing this inhumanity firsthand. They are terrified and fear for their lives.” The organization justified this horror by killing many of its crews in various areas of the Strip.
According to the organization, the area that Israel declared to be a “humanitarian” zone is being attacked “regularly.”
The organization noted, “Throughout Israel’s campaign of death and destruction, a clear pattern of unimaginable violence has emerged: people in Gaza are being asked to make an impossible choice between staying, in defiance of evacuation orders, to become legitimate targets and be killed; or leaving, to risk their lives.”
In its statement issued today, the organization said, “Atrocities pile up upon atrocities on a level different from anything we have seen during our operational experience with Doctors Without Borders.”
The organization stated that Israel killed more than 43,000 people, including nearly 14,000 children, and injured more than 100,000 others.
