About the scariest thing that can happen on a baseball field just happened. Michael Busch sent a rocket right back up the middle, right off of Dodgers pitcher Bobby Miller’s head.
After being down for a little bit, thankfully Miller was able to get up and off the field under his own power. But it was really scary. You could tell how concerned Busch – Miller’s former team – was, given that he didn’t even run out of the box at all.
This was 106 mph off the bat, and it sounded horrific:

Again, Miller was able to get up and walk off, so hopefully he’s just shaken and will have a bad headache. You don’t ever want to see serious damage to the head, or even a concussion. Here’s hoping he’ll be all right.
