Double-decker bus smashes into a car during peak-hour traffic – sending at least six people to hospital
A double-decker bus crashed into a car during peak hour traffic on Wednesday morning – sending six people to hospital.
It appears the car collided with the front of the coach at the intersection of Webster Road and Hoxton Park Road in Liverpool, in Sydney’s west at about 8.40am.
Three people were taken to Liverpool Hospital and three to Fairfield Hospital with leg and back pain.
They are all are in a stable condition.

Acting Inspector Caine Sanders from NSW Ambulance said it was a challenge for paramedics to assess all the injured passengers at once.
‘Our crews did an amazing job assessing and treating everyone on scene,’ he told 9News/
‘It was very lucky that no one sustained more serious injuries.
‘This had the potential to be a terrible incident, we really need to take care behind the wheel of any motor vehicle.’
