A drone struck a commercial vessel early Friday off the coast of Yemen, a maritime security firm said, hours after an oil tanker was reported to have been attacked in the area.

The company explained that no injuries or material damage were reported.
The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) announced on Thursday that the captain of a crude oil tanker called Delta Blue reported that it had been subjected to a double attack off Yemen.
According to the authority, the first attack was carried out by two small boats that fired a rocket-propelled grenade that exploded near the tanker, 45 nautical miles south of the Yemeni port of Mokha. Another rocket exploded hours later near the tanker.
The Liberian-flagged tanker and its crew are safe and sailing to its next port of call, the authority said.
