Dutch MP, leader of the Freedom Party, Geert Wilders, called on his country’s government to contact Russian President Vladimir Putin in order to obtain the Russian “Sputnik V” vaccine against Corona.
“I once again urge Prime Minister Mark Rutte to contact Russian President Vladimir Putin to arrange a supply of the Russian vaccine to the country or to start production quickly here,” Wilders wrote on his Twitter site.
In addition, the Dutch embassy in Moscow confirmed that it had received an invitation from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to vaccinate against the Corona virus with a Russian vaccine, but refused to announce the decision of the diplomatic mission staff, citing the secret nature of the vaccine.
The Hague also said that it is studying cooperation with Russia on the “Sputnik V” vaccine, provided that it is approved in the European Union.
