Buildings shook in Taiwan’s capital, Taipei, today, Saturday, during a magnitude 5.7 earthquake, at a great depth off the country’s northeastern coast, but no damage was reported.
The seismological authority said the epicenter was located just off the coast of Yilan County, and it occurred at a depth of 72.2 km.
Taipei City Administration said subway trains were operating as normal.
