President Andrés Manuel López Obrador met yesterday with Jennifer Granholm, Secretary of Energy of the United States, a meeting in which they would have addressed concerns about the electrical reform initiative promoted by the Mexican government.
“I had a cordial conversation with the Secretary of Energy of the United States, Jennifer Granholm. We deal with matters of interest to our peoples and nations; Respect, understanding and the will to cooperate for development prevailed,” the president reported on his Twitter account at 8:41 p.m.
An hour later, Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard posted on his social network account a photograph with the participants, including himself and the heads of Economy, Tatiana Clouthier; Energy, Rocío Nahle; and from the Treasury, Rogelio Ramírez de la O. “Prognosis? Understanding for clean energies in North America”, wrote Ebrard Casaubón.
