Economic recovery in Mexico City is reflected in more generation of formal jobs: Claudia Sheinbaum

• For four consecutive months, the capital of the country is positioned as the entity with the highest generation of formal jobs nationwide.
• They announce sporting events that will take place in Mexico City in the last two months of the year.

From January to September, Mexico City generated more than 96,358 job opportunities of a formal nature, particularly through the months of June, when 11,338 jobs were generated; in July 10 thousand 492; in August, 19,566 jobs and in the month of September, 29,873 jobs, according to data from the Mexican Social Security Institute, which makes it possible to place Mexico City as the first entity in this matter.

Likewise, data from the National Occupation and Employment Survey, provided by the Inegi, show that in Mexico City there is an economically active population that has also had a higher occupation, among the economic sectors that have had a greater increase in employment. Occupations include commerce, professional services, social services, various services and the manufacturing industry, as well as the construction sector.

In addition to the information on job creation, the Head of Government reported this Thursday on the sports activities that will take place in the last two months of the year, among which are:

• “Rumbo al Maratón 2023”, the registration for the marathon and the half marathon of Mexico City next year begins on November 10, in this framework a first race will be held on November 23 in the Historic Center, which has two Objectives: promote sports tourism, call on the national and international community to participate, come to Mexico City and get to know it running, and serve as a preamble and training for those aspiring to participate in the August 2023 race.
