These warnings come after the organization “ISIS” called in a message known as “rudeness against the infidels”, to launch these attacks on the coming Christmas days in a few days.
The Observatory said: “The organization used to publish such calls that aim to spread terror among European societies at such times, as the organization had previously called on its members to launch terrorist attacks in Spain, and documented this in a version of it in which its members spoke in Spanish.”
In its statement, the Observatory indicated that the organization “usually broadcasts such calls with the aim of spreading enthusiasm in the hearts of its members,” especially the so-called “lone wolves” among them, especially in Western societies, pointing out that “the timing of issuing these threats differs from years ago.” The previous “because of the organization’s implementation of three terrorist operations targeting France and Austria in October and November of this year, which gives the impression that the organization has returned once again to relying on its“ lone wolves ”to carry out terrorist operations using light weapons, or running over , And others.
The observatory stated that ISIS had previously carried out terrorist operations during Christmas in previous years. “In December 2016, the organization carried out a terrorist attack targeting a market in the German capital Berlin, killing 12 people and wounding 50 others. The same year, through thwarting a terrorist attack ISIS was preparing, through three young men who were influenced by the organization’s ideology, and were seeking to launch terrorist attacks on a market in the Austrian capital Vienna.
In 2017, the organization issued what was known as the “Handbook of Lone Wolves”, consisting of 17 members, in which it talks about how its members operate in Europe with the aim of launching horrific terrorist attacks during Christmas.
The Observatory emphasized in its statement that the elimination of “ISIS” in a region “does not mean the final elimination of it,” especially that the organization has elements that follow it from all societies, which means that the organization is able to launch horrific attacks anywhere, especially with what It is known as the “return from ISIS phenomenon”, who constitute a constant threat to their societies, as many reports and studies have indicated that some of them are still connected to the organization and its ideas.
