Egypt declares a state of emergency due to a phenomenon that violated expectations

The Egyptian Ministry of Housing declared a state of emergency and raised the level of maximum preparedness and preparedness to face conditions of instability in weather conditions and contravene expectations announced by the Meteorological Authority.

The Disaster Committee and the Emergency Room have intensified traffic and follow-up to the points of rain gathering, monitoring them in a timely manner, and dealing with them in the country, after the sinking of several cities, including Sharm el-Sheikh.

The operations and relief rooms of the traffic departments also declared a state of emergency, in anticipation of the fluctuations of the weather, the fall of rain or the emergence of winds, while receiving any reports resulting from bad weather conditions around the clock after warnings of the Meteorological Authority about the instability of the weather and heavy rains.

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority confirmed that the intensity of rain varies in many places (Alexandria, Cairo, and North Upper Egypt), as it contradicted the weather forecast in terms of the intensity of rain, and this is due to the movement of the jet stream in the upper air layers and the movement of the depression in the east in a rapid manner, and numerical models could not accurately monitor them .
