The Economic Court in Egypt has ruled against the performance of the show artist, Sama Al-Masry, to stop the execution of a two-year prison sentence for accusing her of violating the values of society and publishing pictures and videos that violate the law.
According to the ruling, Sama Al-Masry continues to be imprisoned in the case for a period of two years, as it is the second case in which he is convicted, as she faces another sentence of one year imprisonment with work and enforcement and a fine of 100 pounds.
The court stated in the merits of its ruling that the conviction of the accused Sama Al-Masry is fixed in papers, and the reasons are sufficient to prove that the accusation is proven against her, stressing that what was stated in the ruling of the first degree is sufficient to demonstrate that she committed the crimes without the need to cite new reasons, especially since the defendant’s defense did not bring new changes to it. He gave an opinion on the case or undermines the soundness of the reasons for its conviction.
