The Egyptian Ministry of Health announced, on Thursday evening, that it had recorded 642 cases and 41 new deaths from the Corona virus, which causes the “Covid-19” infection, in a slight decline for both indicators.
The ministry’s spokesman, Khaled Mujahid, stated, in a new daily statistic, that the number of registered infections with the emerging corona virus “COVID-19” in the country during the past 24 hours increased by 642, compared to 645 in Wednesday’s data, to reach 193482 cases.
Mujahid stated that the Ministry of Health monitored 41 new deaths from the disease last day, compared with 47 deaths on Wednesday, bringing the death toll from the pandemic in the country to the level of 11,472 people.
Mujahid also reported that 399 patients had been discharged from hospitals after their recovery, bringing the number of people recovering from the Corona virus in the country to 148,823 people.
