The rescue forces in Egypt recovered, today, Tuesday, a new body of the victims of the sunken boat in the Al-Mallah area in Lake Mariout in Alexandria, bringing the total number of bodies recovered to 9.

4 river rescue units, in addition to two volunteer divers, are continuing the search for another missing, estimated at 5 people, according to the families’ account.
According to a security source, the number of the injured in the accident, who were transferred to Al-Amiriya General Hospital, was estimated at 6.
The boat was carrying 19 people, from one family, who were sunk while returning from a recreational trip on an island in Lake Mariout, west of Alexandria.
Major General Muhammad al-Sharif, Governor of Alexandria, stated that 4 units of river rescue are still continuing efforts to search for the missing in the accident.
