The sources pointed out that “the round scheduled to be held on Tuesday, its main axes will revolve around preparations for the holding of the presidential and National Council elections, while the meeting will not discuss the legislative elections file, as its details were discussed during the previous round, and therefore it is not on the agenda of the next round of dialogue.” .
The sources indicated that, “despite the completion of all preparations for holding elections, whether the presidential, the National Assembly, or the legislative, the noticeable outbreak of the Corona epidemic in the Palestinian territories may prevent the elections scheduled for May and July.”
The Palestinians are scheduled to hold legislative elections on May 22, and presidential elections on July 31, for the first time in 15 years.
