And the Minister of Youth and Sports, Ashraf Sobhi, had announced the end of the Zamalek crisis, and the club’s plane was heading to Senegal.
Sobhi appealed, in the “pen and paper” program, broadcast on the “TEN” satellite, today, Sunday: “Any mission traveling abroad, even if on a private plane, should review all the necessary procedures and permits, so as not to cause any problems.”
The Zamalek delegation left Cairo on a private plane yesterday evening, Saturday, to Senegal to face the Tongit team, as part of the second round of the group stage of the African Champions League.
The flight from Cairo to Senegal was supposed to take about eight hours, but the lack of a permit to fly via Mauritanian Airlines led to the plane landing in Algeria until the permit was obtained.
