El Buen Fin started in Jalisco with a projection of 5,000 million pesos in sales

Guadalajara, Jal.. With the participation of 13,000 establishments and the projection of reaching sales close to 5,000 million pesos, businessmen and authorities officially inaugurated The Good End 2022 in Jalisco.

“This year we are expecting an economic benefit, only in the Metropolitan Area of Guadalajaraof 5,000 million pesos and the participation of more than 13,000 companies”, commented the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Guadalajara, Raúl Uranga Lamadrid, during the formal start of the Good End that took place in Plaza Patria -one of the shopping centers oldest in the city.

For his part, the president of the Tourism Trust of the Guadalajara Metropolitan AreaMiguel Ángel Fong, commented that due to the commercial and service vocation of the city, the average hotel occupancy during the 2021 edition of the Good End was 78% and this year they expect a higher figure.

“We expect a very active weekend; It is true that we have a high occupancy but the offer of 28,000 rooms that the metropolitan area of ​​Guadalajara has allows space for anyone who wants to come from another city to enjoy all these offers, can still book”, stressed Fong González .

The Federal Consumer Attorney’s Office (prophecy) installed modules in the busiest commercial centers and areas in the city, and implemented an operation of random visits to establishments and customer service to receive complaints about possible abuses.

“We are also going to have an operations center in the Profeco offices to serve any consumer from 9 in the morning to 9 at night…In previous years, 100% of the complaints that have been filed have been reconciled ”, commented the head of Profeco in the metropolitan area, Sebastián Hernández.
