Egyptian actress Elham Shaheen commented on the death of the former Minister of Information, Safwat Al-Sharif, and said that she and other artists presented the most wonderful works of his time.
Elham Shaheen said in a post on her Instagram account, accompanied by a picture of Safwat Al-Sharif: “May God have mercy on the former Minister of Information, Safwat Al-Sharif, and make his rest in Heaven, Lord, God willing.”
And the Egyptian artist continued by saying: “In his era, we presented the most wonderful and most beautiful dramas that delighted the entire Arab world, along with the great stars, the most important writers and the most powerful directors.”
She explained: “Acts that will remain prominent marks in the history of Egyptian drama. The Arab viewer will not forget the series such as Layali al-Helmiyya, Half Rabi ‘al-Akhir, al-Hawi, al-Barari and al-Hamul or Yesterday’s story, works by major writers such as Osama Anwar Okasha, Muhammad Jalal Abdel-Qawi, Muhammad Safa Amer, Yusra al-Gendy and Mohsen Zayed, and the most powerful directors such as Yahya El Alami, Inaam Mohamed Ali, Mohamed Fadel, Ismail Abdel Hafez and Hassan Saif El Din.
Safwat al-Sharif, the former head of the Shura Council, died at the age of 87 at Nile Valley Hospital, born in 1933.
