Young Brazilian player Endrick opened his scoring account with Real Madrid last Sunday against Real Valladolid in the Spanish Football League, but the goals of the Brazilian talent will cost the royal club a lot of money.
Endrick’s first goal for the Merengues not only marks his official debut, but also triggers a series of particularly beneficial contractual clauses for his former club, Palmeiras.
According to information revealed by the Brazilian newspaper “Globo”, Endrick’s contract includes large bonuses paid to his former club Palmeiras.
For every goal, assist or penalty kick scored by the player, Paulista Club will bring in 35 thousand euros, until 2030.
Accordingly, Palmeiras will receive the first 35,000 euros, after Endrick’s goal against Valladolid.
The contract also provides for other bonuses linked to individual and group performance as follows:
- €75,000 per match starting with at least 45 minutes of play.
- Up to €1 million if you win the Spanish league title, depending on the number of appearances.
- Bonuses ranging from 500,000 to 2 million euros for participating in the Champions League.
- One million euros for the Golden Boy award or the Copa America award.
- Up to €2 million if you win the Ballon d’Or or the FIFA Best Player award.

These clauses could bring in up to an additional €12.5m for Palmeiras, on top of the €35m Real Madrid have already paid for his transfer.
The Spanish club also pledged to pay up to €25 million in bonuses linked to unspecified targets.
If these figures are confirmed, they show the huge potential Real Madrid see in Endrick, as well as the increasing importance of performance clauses in the contracts of young talents in world football.
Endrick (18 years old) joined Real Madrid this summer, coming from Palmeiras, on a long-term contract.
