Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored on his senior international debut as an inexperienced England side beat Wales comfortably in a friendly at Wembley.
The Everton forward, who has nine goals in six club games this season, headed home a superb cross from Jack Grealish, making his first England start.
Conor Coady continued the theme, poking the ball in from Kieran Trippier’s free-kick on his full debut for 2-0.
Danny Ings’ overhead kick put the game beyond the visitors.
Bukayo Saka almost added to the debutant fun, but Wayne Hennessey was equal to his drive with a superb save.
After Thursday’s friendly, England have two Nations League games this international break, hosting Belgium on Sunday and then Denmark the following Wednesday.
More to follow.
