England were unable to break down a dogged Scottish defence as the age-old rivals drew 0-0 in their Euro 2020 clash at Wembley Stadium.
Though boos rang out at the full-time whistle, the draw took Gareth Southgate’s side a step closer to qualification for the knock-out rounds, while Scotland kept their own hopes alive with a valuable point.
England defender John Stones came closest to breaking the deadlock in the first half when he flew high to head against the post from a corner, but Scotland had chances of their own in a match that probably deserved to end in stalemate.
More to come.
