Tottenham Hotspur announced, in an official statement, that its match in the English Premier League against its guest Fulham, which was scheduled to start this evening, Wednesday, was postponed due to the outbreak of the Corona virus in the ranks of Fulham.
“The Premier League has informed us of the decision this afternoon, as Fulham requested a postponement after the increase in cases of Covid-19 among its players and technical staff. Details of the new match date will be confirmed in due course,” Tottenham said in a statement.
In his statement, Tottenham wished the Fulham players infected with the virus a speedy recovery.
